Our healthcare and pharmacy in the EU

The publication is intended as a guide for entities operating in the health care sector in the period after the Czech Republic's accession to the European Union. The authors present basic information about the European Union in a clear way, its development and structure, explain in a nutshell the work and objectives of its organs and provide practical tips, that can be useful to health care workers, because, first of all, to them, but also to other entities operating in the healthcare sector, is intended. Last but not least, the book seeks to provide an overview of selected legislation and guidance on how to navigate it, an activity in which health care workers may have difficulty. The final section, which is addressed to manufacturers, importers, distributors and sellers of medical devices, briefly defines their basic obligations.
