A team of authors, comprising experts and educators from several medical faculties in the Czech and Slovak Republics, has prepared this fundamental textbook on orthodontics. This specialised medical field focuses on the diagnosis, therapy, and prevention of deviations in tooth position, dental arch relationships, and jaw alignment. The textbook also describes the development and growth of the jaws and cranial bones, the development of occlusion, anomalies in this development, and how to treat them.
