A post-apocalyptic action-packed ride from the author of Blade of Entropy
In a world devastated by the conflict between humans and machines, the only certainty is death. At least, that's what veteran Rust thought, which is why he became an undertaker. But decades after the war, the peaceful business of burying corpses starts to get complicated: mechanical nightmares, the very ones that once brought humanity to the brink of extinction, are crawling out of mysterious hideouts. They are creatures so terrible that the settlements, which have purposefully eradicated all technology, have no chance of defending themselves.
Rust could have protected the inhabitants of his village, but instead of asking for his help, they publicly hang him. With this foolish act, they not only sign their own death warrant but also condemn the undertaker to a murderous resurrection, during which ancient cults, robotic horrors, love, and insane machine deities will cross his path.
