On the wings of the Phoenix

The captain of the pirate ship leads her crew with reason. However, a routine yet fundamentally unreasonable killing sets off a chain of events that forces her to reconsider her way of life. Some crew members stand by her unconditionally, but others are tempted by the more aggressive ship raids promised by Larry Shackburn, a seasoned pirate her ship recently rescued. As unrest on board escalates, the captain must flee with her most valuable loot. Yet, she cannot escape the sins of her past and must learn to face them. Fortunately, she won't have to do it alone.
