Obsession with crime

Ladislav Beran has already confirmed in his short story books that there is a well-coordinated group of criminologists and investigators around the head of the Písek crime lab, Captain Karas. It is not for nothing that a gallery in Písek also refers to the local criminal police building as a "machrhaus". Lieutenants Studnička and Mach, Investigator Vandová and Investigator Čtveráková, as well as the drug dealers Lieutenants Mařínek and Lojda, know how to "honestly stomp out" cases.
