Nursing procedures for paramedics II

The publication is intended primarily for first-year students of the field of paramedic. Its main purpose was to unify topics and procedures specific to this field. Following the amendment of Act no. 96/2004, a paramedic may carry out activities without professional supervision after one year of exercising the profession in the provision of acute inpatient care. Nursing procedures are specified and approximated to the working conditions of intensive care units.

The authors place emphasis on safe, effective and quality nursing care with a focus on maintaining lege artis procedures, communication and above all humanity. The selection of topics was based on the currently valid competencies of paramedics. The content also includes photographic techniques that students can see well in practice.
