Northern Marshes
Mysterious murder in Iceland: Inspector Erlendur searches for the truth
At first, it looked like a very ordinary murder. An old man was found dead in his apartment in the suburbs of Reykjavik and no one bothered to cover their tracks or pretend that he died by his own hand. But why did the killer leave a message with the victim that no one understands? And how does the photo of the child's tombstone relate to this? Commissioner Erlendur Sveinsson is assigned to the case at a time when he has more than enough personal problems...
