The story of the novel Nobody's Guilty? is set in the environment of pre-war Prague
A sales representative finds himself in a completely unfamiliar environment as a result of a bad life situation. He finds refuge with a man he helped earlier. What he doesn't know is that he is the leader of a criminal organisation. He is later pulled away from a robbery and two murders. Against his will, he discovers what life at the bottom of society is like and tries to bounce back up.
