Nitra Gate of Death

During the military expedition to Upper Hungary, the troops of Přemysl II. Otakar manages to take Nitra. The administration of the town was taken over by the representative of the Czech king Oldřich of Chlum. One morning the body of the canon of the Nitra chapter is found hanging on the Lower Gate. Panic spreads through the city as this gate is considered cursed. Years ago, a woman accused of being in league with the devil died there. The clues lead to the Church of St James, but before they can be verified, the parish priest of this church appears hanged in the gate. Oldrich of Chlum has three days to discover and convict the criminal.
