Net of dreams

Urban fantasy like you've never seen before!
Monika and Nahu live about seventy kilometres from each other. Monika paints, reads tarot cards, goes for coffee with her friend, and listens to her cousin Dan's sarcastic remarks, whose stories she often illustrates. Nahu, on the other hand, prays to the setting sun, talks to the earth, and is also, in a way, the first woman of her tribe. Does something seem odd about that? You're right. They are separated by roughly four thousand years. Monika might chalk up their first encounter to chance, but after just a few days, she discovers that Nahu must have had a very serious reason for never crossing over to the other side. Neither the chasm of ages nor death can stop the prehistoric beauty from visiting Monika again and again. And stealing her sleep. But why is she doing it, and why hasn't she found peace? The solution seems simple – all she has to do is save Ethel. Or at least that's what Nahu claims.
On the trail of a malevolent spiritBut who is Ethel, and what is Monika supposed to save her from? There's a reason why the mysterious prehistoric beauty chose the young seer from Prague; looking into the future isn't the only way to uncover hidden truths. But there's a lot Monika still doesn't know about herself... And she has no idea who this mysterious evil is or how it chooses its victims. Now she faces a clear choice: leave the unknown girl at the mercy of a murderous spirit and send Nahu away forever, or set out on a thorny path full of sorrowful and emotional revelations. She isn't meant to walk this new path in life alone. But how can she be sure that the intelligent and distinguished Alex is really who he claims to be, and what are his intentions towards Monika? The young painter can only hope that, besides sleep, she won't also lose a piece of her heart. Be captivated by a story about the power of selfless friendship, human stubbornness, ancient evil, and a love that has overcome the strength of centuries.

The publisher FANTOM Print (www.fantomprint.cz) invites you to an unconventional urban fantasy by new Czech author Petra Kubašková, which will not only take you into the mysterious parlours of modern clairvoyants and hypnotists, but also give you a glimpse into a time when shamanic rituals might have taken place where our cities stand today.
About the author:
Petra Kubašková was born eleven years before the Velvet Revolution, a Sagittarius with a Leo ascendant, so it's sometimes best to steer clear. She loves the paintings of Picasso, Monet, and Klimt, and in her spare time, she tries to imitate them with varying degrees of success. Recently, she has taken a liking to writing books, crying, laughing, and feeling fear along with her characters. She gets her best ideas while walking in nature, washing dishes, and climbing stairs (mostly on the way down, because on the way up, she's mainly focused on when she'll finally reach the top). She reads a lot, but not everything, and her choice of genre varies. She loves rhubarb crumble and domesticated pet rodents (she doesn't eat the latter), hates arthropods, and listens to and reads her daughter's fantastical stories with fascination. She wanders through forgotten alleyways with ancient houses, fantasising about all the things that might have happened there. She likes to make her dreams come true, but sometimes it takes her a little while.
