The most beautiful dream

It was a beautiful May day, without a cloud in the sky. The birds were singing, and the spring flowers were competing to see which could smell the sweetest. When Silvina noticed Prince Frederik sitting on a bench, she quickened her pace. But the man who had wanted to give her the world the night before was not alone today. Next to him sat a well-dressed lady in a pink designer suit. As she approached them, the woman slowly stood up. “You must be Silvina,” she said in a cold voice. “I am Almut von Wittgen, Frederik’s fiancée.” Silvina instantly turned pale. She couldn't utter a single sound. Nor did she pay any attention to the prince's pleading gaze. Instead, she quickly turned and ran away.
