Musketeers VI: Freemasons

This sixth instalment plunges our musketeers – the charismatic Captain Ethan Cole, the devout priest Gabriel Walsh, the irredeemable drunkard Jack Donovan, and the eternally horny, foul-mouthed Ryan Mercer – straight into the action immediately after their narrow escape from the burning stakes alongside the Knights Templar. But instead of the peace and freedom they long for, a mysterious agency from 2090 ruthlessly flings them back into the past. Their new destination is London in 1717, where the Premier Grand Lodge of Freemasons is taking root on the foundations of ancient Templar secrets. The future's ruling elite want just one thing: to seize the lost Templar treasure and mystical artefacts, using them to covertly control global finance and the destiny of all humanity. To succeed, the musketeers must infiltrate the very heart of the founding order and pass the brotherhood's heavily guarded rituals. But that would require Ryan to stop frequenting London brothels at every opportunity, and Jack to stop hunting for any bottle of alcohol within reach. Amidst the mechanical traps of ancient crypts and sword fights in dark alleys, a terrifying question begins to surface: do the Masons rule the world order in the 21st century too? At stake is not just fabulous wealth, but free will itself across all ages. Four cosmic rebels play a dangerous, mysterious game where they make their own rules.
