Murderous Beauty

You must investigate who rid the world of Kaprštejn! This is the order given to the young investigating magistrate, Borek, by Judge Hykl upon learning that a prominent man has been found brutally murdered on the road to Počernice. Borek soon discovers that this is no mere robbery, but that there is more to the murder, as half of Prague hated the greedy Kaprštejn. Although he is initially distracted by the beauty of the young widow, as always, he listens to his intuition and, this time, also to the local gossip. Based on witness testimonies, Borek uncovers not only the killers but also their motives and the causes of other murders that seemed unrelated.
