Mr. Beetle's Epochal Trip to the 15th Century

One of the funniest novels of Czech literature from the pen of Svatopluk Čech is published as an audiobook on 4 CDs! The story of Mr. Brouček, a well-to-do Prague burgher who finds himself in Hussite Prague during his journey through time, is still popular not only thanks to its original theme, but also thanks to its humorous view of the various ills of the Czech national character. "Mr. Brouček's epochal trip to XV. century" was directed by Arnošt Goldflam under the direction of Dimitrij Dudík. The actor created the character of Mr. Beetle in a successful play at the Dlouhá Theatre as well as in a radio dramatization. There is no better performer for MrBroucek than Arnost Goldflam!
