For Gesela's entire life, her village has been plagued by curses – one after another, each needing to be broken by a villager who must pay a terrible price. When the well dries up, the task falls to Gesela: to kill the toad at the bottom. But the toad is an enchanted elf prince, and after his death, his brothers come to avenge him. Gesela is punished with exile to the seventh prince – the Beast. He offers her a deal: if she can guess his true name within seven days, she will win her freedom. But she must speak his name out of love. Can they learn to love each other in time?
