Motorcycle trolleys PAv

Motorcycle carriages form an integral, but little known part of Czechoslovak motoring history. The book provides readers with a comprehensive picture of the history of the use of carts in conjunction with motorcycles, which was a direct and logical consequence of the specific post-war development of motoring in Czechoslovakia.

The specificity of the Czechoslovak development is confirmed by the fact that in no other country was the use of motorcycle carts as widespread as in Czechoslovakia. The strength of the book is a detailed mapping of the development of motorcycle carts in Czechoslovakia, both the PAv carts themselves, whose efficient yet very tasteful and timeless design was a manifestation of the efforts to use the motorcycle as a full-fledged means of transport, and their predecessors, as well as the carts of amateur construction for which the PAv carts were an inspiration.

The individual trolleys are described in detail and duly documented photographically. Based on the processing of many contemporary documents, the book also provides information on the practical operation of the carts, their maintenance and repairs.
