Miss Emma and the lion of salons

Miss Emma has noble goals and, as part of the ladies' committee, writes petitions to Parliament, trying to change the unjust order of society. She also helps at a school for girls from poor backgrounds so that they don' t end up on the streets. Most of high society does not understand her progressive zeal, so Emma rejects all marriage proposals, preferring to improve the world.
