Michal Lázňovský: Knight Perceval and the Holy Grail

The old Celtic legend was at the birth of the French heroic epic and many later novels and influenced all European literature. The play, with an excellent cast, is one of those stories that do not lack fascination with supernatural fairy tale magic and where honour, justice, courage or love are not just empty concepts. We will follow the young Perceval's life up to manhood and his approach to the Holy Grail, the miraculous bowl of Christ's blood. Performers: Michal Dlouhý, Petr Kostka, Svatopluk Skopal, Jaroslava Adamová, Josef Somr and more than twenty other actors.
