Mesopotamia

That city, Uruk, looked like it had been destroyed by a natural disaster. But it was the work of King Naram-Sin. An encounter with Tilhar, a young merchant who lost his entire family in Uruk, and an incredible coincidence entangle Bára in a highly important and dangerous mission – to deliver to King Naram-Sin a message from his aunt, the High Priestess Encheduanna, whose life is at stake. But if the message is delivered, another city will suffer the same fate as Uruk. Moreover, Bara is accompanied by Tilhar, who has sworn death to Naram-Sin.

In her books, historian Veronika Válková transports readers to real, real history, where she and Bára experience exciting moments, but they also learn a lot.
