Mental disability

The publication focuses on the specifics of the personality of students and clients with intellectual disabilities and the diagnosis of these areas. It is based on three basic stratification systems, which are newly used in the field of health care (ICF - International Classification of Functional Abilities, Disability and Health), in the field of social services (SIS - Scale for the Determination of Support) and piloted in (special) education and counselling (KaSPC - Catalogue for the Assessment of Special Educational Needs). The reader will gain an overview of the personality structure of a person with intellectual disabilities and special educational support for students with intellectual disabilities, a new phenomenon in the care of people with disabilities.
