Meatballs with whipped cream

If you lose, you have to eat fifty meatballs with whipped cream!
The story gives a glimpse behind the scenes of working in a large furniture retail chain, where all sorts of situations arise, both among employees and with customers. Martina, who has just been hired, gradually gets to know her new colleagues, some of whom are dealing not only with work problems but also with private matters. She gradually discovers that, as almost everywhere, a network of relationships is forming among them, woven from sympathy, support, intrigue, pacts, rivalry, hatred, and backstabbing. Martina, the main character of this novel about ordinary people, ordinary relationships, and ordinary things, lightly spiced with humour, also gets caught up in this labyrinth of relationships and emotions.
How will Martina navigate her new environment? And who will ultimately lose the bet and have to eat those fifty meatballs with whipped cream?
