Meat Grinder: The Beast
Kazimír Nezbeda Has a Monopoly on Trouble
They flew to a foreign planet with the goal of conquering and winning. But on the very first day, they suffered greater losses than they could afford. Luzná is a hell of snapping jaws and claws tearing at flesh. Kazimír Nezbeda has a monopoly on trouble. His body is growing stronger practically before his eyes, and his mind is filling with thoughts he has never had before. His big mouth keeps getting Squad B into more and more trouble, which means spending a lot of time on the front defensive line—the most dangerous place in the universe. Surviving and not losing his friends is getting harder. There are far more enemies than there should be, and some of them are even within the ranks of the Czech army.
Honza Slívka
The more modern the times become, the less he likes them. He hates crowds, yet he is constantly surrounded by people. He does none of the things he studied for. He doesn't have enough money to buy what he wants. He doesn't see the friends he loves often enough. He has never found a job he enjoys. He despises the systems that make the modern world work. He believes the planet's biggest problem is overpopulation. When he watches Armageddon, he roots for the asteroid. And yet, he lives in his dream house in the perfect place, with the woman he loves, and he has just fulfilled one of his dreams. Others are on the way. You see, Honza is a hopeless optimist.
