Meadow full of dandelions

Return to the meadow

The novella Meadow Full of Dandelions was published as a magazine supplement and then sank to the bottom of a drawer. It's time to dust it off and make not only fans of the popular writer happy. Tereza comes to a small village in the Podkrkonoší region to find temporary shelter with a friend from high school. She is running away from the problems caused by her mother's death, her father's new marriage and her dissatisfaction at work. She seeks her own path, but her desire for autonomy and independence brings many complications she had not counted on. Fortunately, she also finds friendship and love and discovers that she is much stronger than she thought. The book is complemented by a unique collection of feuilletons in which the author talks about her family, friendship and the small joys of life with gentle humour and kind insight.
