Imagine waking up completely naked in the middle of a dusty road, surrounded only by darkness and emptiness. When you subsequently discover that sixty-two years have passed and the mere remnants of that civilisation are hiding under an energy dome, a grim realisation dawns. Everything you held dear has long ceased to exist; everyone you loved is long dead.
What’s more, you are apparently something others call a nanite. And because of that, some want to exploit you, while others want to destroy you completely.
