Classic historical novel with Jewish themes by Lion Feuchtwanger
A historical novel that describes the coexistence of Jews, Christians and Muslims in medieval Spain in the 12th century. Europe is in the throes of a holy war, and against the backdrop of these historical events, the love story of King Don Alfonso and the beautiful Jewess Raquel is born. A love story of two different people, which cannot culminate except in the death of one of them.
