Marie Šedivá: Escape

Princess Marie of Volkonia was one of the first to follow her husband, Prince Sergius of Volkon, into exile after the suppressed rebellion of the Decembrists. She has spent 30 years in very difficult living conditions, now she is an aging woman on the run from Siberia and seems to have no strength to continue. The radio play was staged in 1976 by director Petr Adler, who entrusted the role of Maria Volkonska to actress Věra Galatíková. Along with her, there are other excellent actors such as Daniela Kolářová, Karolína Slunéčková, Miloš Nedbal, Karel Höger, Miroslav Doležal, Alena Vránová.
