Marie Kubátová: Tin Treasure

A fairy tale by Marie Kubátová about how Ondřej managed to make tin like silver, turn the witch Cordula into a good townswoman and make the barrels look back at their work for once. Ondřej Konvička, a tinner, gave the barrels beautiful dishes to foretell a good future for the newly born son of the landowner. The barrels appreciated the tin utensils and fulfilled the request. However, Ondřej never had it so easy in his life. Not only good forces were lurking, but also evil ones. But he was not willing to sell his craft to hell.
