Ten Authors, Ten Stories, One Lockdown
This collection, created as a publishing house initiative during the nation's state of emergency, will transport you to new fantastical worlds—whether among orcs, elves and halflings in the short story 'Old Noble Times' by František Kotleta, or into a world of technological marvels in 'The Doll' by Roman Bureš.
You'll visit a futuristic world in 'Saturday Shift' by Kristýna Sněgoňová, a peculiar magical poorhouse in Petra Kubašková's short story, and even a Theatre of Freaks in Lucie Lukačovičová's tale. Find out if the heroes manage to save a young widow in 'Allerseelen' by Oskar Fuchs or their loved ones in 'Old Friends' by Michaela Merglová.
You will uncover the 'Shadows over Prague' with David Šenk, delve into a world of honour and alchemy in 'The Clap of One Hand' by Petr Schink, and with Dalibor Vácha, you will taste the 'Journey to the South'.
Open the book and get a taste of the stories that often set these now-famous authors on the path to literary success.
