Sid Meier
(born. 1954) is a Canadian game designer, programmer, and entrepreneur. He has been developing video games since the early 1980s and is considered one of the central figures of the entire gaming industry and gaming culture. He is the author of games such as Railroad Tycoon and the Civilization series.
