Letters from Asia

A book of short letters from 2014 to 2019, spent in South and South-East Asia. During this time, the author worked for the UN Women agency in Cambodia and lived in Hong Kong and Bangladesh, where she conducted field research with illegal female migrants. In her letters, she describes, in an unsentimental way, the political changes in the region, experiences with various meditation techniques, and the specific stories of people who inspired her.
