Legendary motorcycle Bohemia
The book is intended for all those interested in motoring and its history. The publication introduces Albin Liebisch (1888-1965), who is undoubtedly one of the few Sudeten Germans to whom a memorial plaque was unveiled by the Czech Republic. Liebisch's Bohemia-Böhmerland motorcycles became a household name and are still the longest motorcycles in the world today. Their unorthodox appearance has amazed the world motoring public for more than eighty years, inspiring artists and prompting historians of technology and various publicists to write articles and studies of various levels. Many years of collecting information enabled the author to write out the life peripeties of Albin Liebisch, for whom, as his son Richard recalled years later, nothing was impossible. For fifteen years - until the start of World War II - he and his small company were able to sell a unique motorcycle to almost anyone using minimalist marketing methods.
