Leave me alone

Six destinies. Six rooms. What's next? Táňa, Luis, Dušan, Josef, Marta and Adéla. They are all adults, but for various reasons, they can't manage to live independently. They spend their lives in their rooms, which they lack the will, strength, or courage to leave. For Táňa and her two young children, her former childhood bedroom is a sanctuary; for her partner Luis, it's a hideout from justice; for Josef, a self-imposed prison. Dušan is confined to a wheelchair after an accident and depends on his parents' help, Marta is waiting at home for her big break, and Adéla has already squandered hers several times. They are all adults, but they can't manage to live independently. What unites them is a longing for a happy life, but each of them has a different idea of what that means. Will they find recognition, understanding, and love, and finally have peace from all the bad things? A Czech Radio recording from 2025. The book on which this is based was published in 2024 by MOTTO publishing house.
