Learning and adult education

The monograph provides the reader with essential knowledge from the field of andragogy, which focuses on adult learning and education. It provides up-to-date information on the context, methods and results of learning and education processes aimed at the adult population.

The publication is guided by the question: What does an andragogue, or adult educator, need to know to understand their field? This generally formulated question breaks down into a number of sub-questions, which are gradually posed, justified, and with the support of theoretical and empirical knowledge, answers are sought, structured into five parts of the publication. The book is intended primarily for students of andragogy and other pedagogical fields, but it will also be useful for adult educators in various positions or for those interested in the topic from the wider public.
