The book Lazar brings a new installment in the successful crime series by author duo Lars Kepler
Commissioner Joona Linna thought he was over the worst, but everything is just beginning.
Police discover the body of a dead man in an apartment in the suburbs of Oslo. They are shocked by what they find in the freezer. The murdered man was a grave robber, trophy collector, and cannibal. One of the trophies is the skull of Summa Linn, Joon' s wife.
A few days later, a German commissioner asks the Swedish police for help. A sexual predator was murdered at a campsite near Rostock. Joona soon realizes that he cannot ignore the seemingly random connection between the victims - the clues lead to someone who should have been dead for a long time.
