Lars under fire

Lars finds himself under fire and on the wrong side of the bars...

One November evening, the tough private eye Lars—a man with a weakness for quality bourbon, loud music, and beautiful women—accepts an unusual case. On behalf of an anonymous client from a prominent law firm, he must find a person about whom nothing is known except for their mother's name and where they lived more than two decades ago.
The investigation and subsequent complications lead Lars not only into the world of drug dealers but, through a series of unfortunate events, to the grubbier side of the bars. While one dead body lands him in prison, another, paradoxically, sets him free, allowing him to begin the journey to clear his name.
Along the way, he discovers that the task he was initially given is just a fragment of a case in which nothing is as it first seems…
