Květa Legátová: The Legend of the Virtuous Dobromila

Květa Legátová's comedy about a clever woman who has matured beyond the traps of the devil offered acting opportunities for Alena Mihulová, Václav Postránecký, Alois Švehlík and other actors. When the short story books Želary and Jozova Hanule were published in 2000, it was the first encounter with the then eighty-one-year-old writer Květá Legátová for the local wider reading public. The interest in the author culminated in the film adaptation of the novel Želary and the State Prize for Literature, which was awarded to Květá Legátová in 2002.
