Khaki Beads with a Smile

During his many years of service in a green military uniform, the author experienced many stories he would rather forget, but even more that he is happy to recall today. The book begins with memories of amusing incidents from his time as a military student, continues with tales from his service in various branches of the army, and ends by recounting interesting stories from his work at the Ministry of Defence. The book does not aim to be some kind of unofficial sequel to The Black Barons or The Tank Battalion. However, you may find that these amusing stories from a more modern period of our army appeal to and delight you.
