Katharina's cipher
When someone disappears without a trace, it’s a mystery in itself. But what if the person who has vanished leaves something behind that makes the mystery even greater?
William Wisting arrives at Martin Haugen’s house, from where Haugen’s wife, Katharina, disappeared twenty-four years ago. The case has never been solved. The two men became friends during the long investigation, and so Wisting visits Haugen every year on the anniversary of Katharina’s disappearance. But this time, the house is locked and Haugen’s phone is silent. On the same day, Wisting is visited by detective Adrian Stiller from Kripos, who shares his suspicion that Katharina Haugen’s case is connected to another strange disappearance.
