Karel Šiktanc: Small Apple Garden

Another of the beautiful radio tales by the poet Karel Šiktanec. Comtesse Joan is sick, as if she has no strength to live. The young gardener Prokop would do anything to save Johanna. He sets off for the blue lake that Prince Johanna had built for her pleasure when her mother died. But the lake has taken water from the whole area, the land around it is like a dry fire, and people had to move out of their homes because there was no longer any place to live. Prokop discovers an apple orchard in the former garden of the rooter by the lake. And since he is the gardener who takes care of the apple trees, the apple fairy appears to him and knows how to help Joan?
