Karel Čapek: Commissioner Mejzlík intervenes

Tales from One Pocket and Another are still one of the most popular and widely read parts of Karel Čapek's work. Just as Emil Vachek created the character of Commissioner Klubíček, Čapek's man in the service of justice is called Mejzlík. With Commissioner Mejzlík, we return to the late 1920s in several stories. We will learn about his scientific detective methods that he uses to uncover petty thieves and murderers, methods that will help him solve a crime that took place in ancient history.
