Just like that.
Similar to the comic book Article II, Jiří Šimáček once again returns to the past, telling a story about the difficulty of maintaining simple decency in an unfree and apathetic society. The book is about life in a country where human dignity and the natural rights of the individual meant very little. It is inspired by the life story of a founding figure of the human rights movement in the former Soviet Union, who, with a handful of brave people, stood up against the occupation of Czechoslovakia on Red Square in Moscow in August 1968. The sober, at times ironic, tone of the narrative subtly allows the gentle strength of the main character to shine through as she faces the hopelessness and despair of a monstrous system.
