Josef Kopta: Watchman No.47

A seven-part sequel to the novel by the classic of Czech literature Josef Kopta "The Watchman No. 47". It reads: Igor Bareš The plot of the story, set in a small village near Louny, takes us to the end of the 19th century. Its tranquillity is disturbed by the construction of the railway line, with which new people come to the region, and the desolation that characterised it until then is there. Here begins the story of František Douša, an army veteran who settled with his family in guard house number 47.
