Jiří Hubička: The power of words

In this original radio detective story set in a contemporary Czech town of district format, the author of the play explores the power of words. It takes us into a world where powerful bosses not only rule all the economic entities in their region, but also control all the important media. The story of The Power of the Word offers the excitement of a detective plot, but at the same time an overlap based on the realisation that human fate is not to be played with. A free sequel, another detective case of a pair of investigators - Vláčil and Králíčková - listen to the detective radio play: From the wild east.
