Jan Hanuš: Labyrinth World
The important Czech composer Jan Hanuš, his parents and seven siblings lived through both world wars, the first one as the youngest member of a large family even for that time. The wars and the subsequent communist regime had an irreversible impact on his personal and family life. They did not, however, take away the kindness and refinement with which he recounts all the events in his book of memoirs, Labyrinth World. In spite of all his experiences, which were certainly fatal for some others, Jan Hanuš did not take the path of harm, but of creation. Own artistic creation and the creation of cultural, Christian and human community. When you delve into his memories, you will be amazed at how richly and selflessly human life can be filled. Directed by Hana Kofrankova and read by Josef Somr.
