Jack London: White Day

London's adventure novel about White Day, an Alaskan hero from the early years of the gold rush, belongs to a time before the great Klondike gold discovery. At that time, the news of the discoveries attracted intrepid pioneers and gold diggers, vagabonds and adventurers, accustomed to a rough life, to the North. One of the first to arrive was a young gold prospector named White Day, who became a legendary figure in Alaska. Jack London's novel is not only a story from the gold mining days, but also a book about a return to nature. A continuation of the 1962 reading interpreted by Václav Neužil.
