Jáchym from the castle and the fairy Vilomína

The new book by actress, blogger, and writer Marie Doležalová offers an original, zany story that will delight readers of Roald Dahl and David Walliams. What should a child do when something is bothering them? Go to their parents, of course, everyone knows that. But what if they're too busy with their own worries to listen? Then there's nothing left to do but… call your guardian angel. Jáchym's angel, however, defies all expectations and conventions. She's actually a vain fairy named Vilomína, and she's so busy preening that she almost misses her chance to save Jáchym. And that's just the beginning of a wonderfully madcap adventure to save a family and the inhabitants of a seventy-room castle.
