Ivan Vyskocil: Příhoda

A grotesque tale in which an unsuspecting civil servant falls under the spell of absurd events, starring Bohumil Záhorský. The cast also includes Alena Vránová, Vladimír Brabec, Miloš Kopecký, Čestmír Řanda and others. In the world of Vyskočil's play, it is disturbingly easy for a high-ranking official to become a suspicious social individual with potential anti-state intentions. All he has to do is get the address of his landlady's daughter wrong, to whom he promised to deliver a suitcase of homemade preserves. Bums in the trunk are not bombs, but even a jam, when used appropriately, can put a dangerous jammer out of commission as a sort of transmitter in Lot. Directed by: Jiří Horčička.
