It's a good thing I'm not a hangman.

An adventure detective story set in Renaissance Prague. The novel is based on the author's play of the same name. It is full of twists and turns, suspense, but also funny situations and unexpected denouement. The main heroes are not the detectives known from other Vondruška novels, but a seemingly disparate trio of heroes - an Old Town bailiff, an executioner and a proficient theology student.
