Intraoperative and perioperative endoscopy and combined procedures on the digestive tract

The book deals with the intersection of endoscopy and surgery from the diagnostic and therapeutic point of view. It provides an overview of information on the importance of endoscopy in the perioperative period, combined endoscopic-surgical procedures and minimally invasive interventions on the digestive tract in terms of indications, technique and potential benefit for reducing invasiveness and targeting of the procedure.

The main topics are, besides interventions for benign diseases, especially the therapy of tumours of the digestive tract and the therapy of postoperative, especially anastomotic complications.
