There are situations that no one can be prepared for.
A cold London morning.
A large suitcase that washed up in the Thames. Detective Chief Inspector Erika Foster and her colleague Moss already suspect that an unpleasant surprise awaits them inside...
But no one can be prepared for what they will actually find when they manage to open the rusted suitcase after several futile attempts...
Although it's not the first time Detective Chief Inspector Erika Foster has faced a brutal murder, a suitcase containing the dismembered body of a young man washed up on the banks of the Thames shocks her. In addition, two weeks ago, the body of a young woman was found in a similar suitcase. Is it just a coincidence or will Erika and her team have to face a serial killer again? What about other cases that happened in a different district and under different circumstances? Could there be any commonalities with the case of the bodies in the suitcases?
